Friends of the Ravines regularly conducts Educational Booths at various events around Columbus. This includes but is not limited to the following events:
  • Comfest
  • Riverfest
  • Columbus Recreation and Parks Bioblitz

  • Clintonville Beechwold Tour of Homes Co-sponsor of House #5 with Friends of the Lower Olentangy Watershed in 2001
  • The Glen Echo Restoration by John Husted. Restoration Spokesperson gave an on-site presentation to the Steering Committee of Franklin County Greenways Program at Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission.

  • Friends of the Lower Olentangy Watershed Monthly Meeting – Glen Echo Restoration
  • On Site Glen Echo Restoration Presentation by John Husted Restoration Spokesperson, John Husted, gave Urban Ecology Students a walking tour of the Glen Echo Restoration. The session ended with students and volunteers Planting native plants on the northern slope of Glen Echo.
  • Out with Invasives: Invasive plant education and removal Of invasives in Glen Echo Park with students from The Graham School.
  • In With Natives: Native plant education and planting of Native plant species in Glen Echo Park with students from the Graham School.
